Sustainability influences every decision we make; from the natural ingredients we select to the way we package and deliver our products. We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint by sourcing all our materials from UK-based manufacturers, suppliers and distributors, who are, like us, conscious of the importance of balance in nature.
As our business evolves, so do our sustainability goals. We are dedicated to finding new and innovative ways to improve our social responsibility and environmental impact. Here are some of the initiatives we've put in place so far:
Clean & Natural Candles
Each Ánemos candle is crafted with a blend of 100% natural and sustainable wax blend, manufactured by British Wax in Surrey, England. The company has been making natural wax for more than 100 years, and this environmentally friendly, high-quality wax contains Certified Organic Coconut wax and Rapeseed crop grown in UK/EU. This wax is biodegradable, renewable, and ensures a clean, long-lasting burn. Our candles are scented with pure, natural essential oils, free from any artificial fragrances or chemical scent boosters. This results in a subtle, authentic scent that enhances your space without overpowering it.
Vegan & Free from Nasties
Our candles are 100% vegan and free from paraffin, soy, palm oil, and synthetic additives. We carefully choose every ingredient to ensure our products are as pure and natural as possible, supporting a cleaner environment and a healthier lifestyle.

Eco-Conscious Packaging
In line with our commitment to sustainability, we’ve taken a minimalistic approach to our packaging. Instead of unnecessary boxes, we offer our candles in reusable cotton presentation bags. All our materials are UK-sourced, plastic-free wherever possible, and carefully selected to minimise our environmental impact.
Our labels are recyclable, our tissue paper is compostable, and our postal boxes and packing materials are made from at least 70% recycled content and are fully recyclable. Even our packing peanuts and shredded paper filler is 100% biodegradable, ensuring that every part of our packaging process is as eco-friendly as possible.
